ONI-MASKED NIGHTWALKER – MUNIT [Vegito]

Description

The ONI-MASKED NIGHTWALKER (also released as the MP Studio / M Unit Vegito line) by MUNIT (M Unit / MP Studio) is a premium 1/12 scale third-party action figure release that captures the iconic Dragon Ball Z / Super fusion warrior Vegito. Designed specifically to integrate seamlessly with Bandai’s 1/12 scale S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball line, MUNIT engineered this figure with dynamic articulation, anime/manga-accurate proportions, and an unusually large suite of accessories.

The figure comes in distinct variants—primarily 01-A (Yellow / Super Saiyan Ver.) and 01-B (Blue / Base & Super Saiyan God SS Ver.)—alongside standalone expansion accessory packs (04-A / 04-B).

🎨 Sculpt, Aesthetics & Anime/Manga Fidelity

• Accurate Proportions & Outfit: Faithfully replicates Vegito’s fused martial arts attire—the inverted blue gi over Goku’s orange undershirt with white gloves and boots.

• Clean Matte & Pearl Finishes: Utilizes high-grade PVC and ABS with sharp paint application across the Potara earrings, boot trims, and hair sculpts. The hair features option sets ranging from solid matte colors to transparent pearlescent energy finishes.

• Expression Variety: Captures Vegito’s signature cocky, battle-ready personality through a wide assortment of face sculpts—ranging from stoic combat glares and smirks to shouting expressions and teeth-gritting battle faces.

⚙️ Key Product Features & Engineering

• Modern 3.0-Style Articulation Architecture:

  • Butterfly Shoulder Joints: Dual-stage internal shoulder hinges allow deep forward and backward reach, making iconic two-handed energy beam poses and crossed-arm poses clean and natural.

  • Multi-Segmented Torso & Waist: Ball-jointed diaphragm and waist cuts allow extreme forward crunches and airborne twisting stances without breaking the gi’s lines.

  • High-Friction Ankle Rockers: Includes hidden ankle ball joints and hinged toe articulation to support wide, low-center-of-gravity martial arts stances.

• Scale Compatibility: Native 1/12 scale (approx. 15–16 cm / 6 inches tall) designed to fit directly into S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball Z and Super displays.

🔍 Technical Specifications

Vegito (ベジット, Bejitto) is the unfathomably powerful fusion warrior born from the union of Goku and Vegeta. Created by writer Akira Toriyama, he made his monumental debut in chapter 503 of the Dragon Ball manga (and episode 268 of Dragon Ball Z). Revered as one of the strongest entities in the entire franchise, Vegito combines Goku’s combat genius, pure-hearted optimism, and strategic versatility with Vegeta’s tactical brilliance, overwhelming pride, and raw combat aggression.

🧬 Origin Story: The Birth of the Ultimate Saiyan

Vegito’s creation was an act of absolute desperation during the climax of the Majin Buu Saga:

• The Terrifying Threat of Super Buu: After absorbing Gohan, Gotenks, and Piccolo, Super Buu had grown far too powerful for either Goku or Vegeta to defeat individually.

• The Potara Earrings: Supreme Kai Elder (Old Kai) gave Goku a pair of Potara Earrings, explaining that when two individuals wear matching earrings on opposite ears, their bodies are magnetically pulled together into a permanent, transcendent fusion.

• The Fusion of Rivals: Reluctant at first, Vegeta agreed after Goku convinced him. Upon placing the left earring on his ear, Vegeta was pulled across the battlefield into Goku, fusing them instantly into Vegito.

• The Buu Saga Strategy: Rather than instantly obliterating Super Buu, Vegito deliberately allowed himself to be absorbed into Buu’s body. Because the magical confines of Buu’s interior corrupted the permanent nature of the Potara fusion, the sheer atmospheric pressure forced them to separate, allowing them to rescue their absorbed friends. He later returned in Dragon Ball Super via the Potara fusion to battle Merged Zamasu, though the intense godly power shortened the fusion’s time limit to under an hour.

🎨 Visual Aesthetic & Design Traits

• Hybrid Appearance: Vegito’s facial features and hairline are a balanced blend of Goku and Vegeta. His hair stands straight up like a Super Saiyan’s in his base form, but with two distinct bangs framing his forehead (derived from Vegeta’s hairline).

• Fused Attire: Wears a dark blue vest/gi over a bright orange undershirt (reversing Goku’s usual orange-over-blue color scheme), secured by a blue sash, white gloves, and white boots.

• The Potara Earrings: Features a singular green Potara earring dangling from each ear.

⚡ Powers, Abilities & Signature Techniques

Vegito inherits the absolute peak abilities of both Saiyans, multiplied exponentially by the fusion bond:

• God-Tier Power Scaling: Even in his base form, Vegito effortlessly humiliated Super Buu, casually dodging attacks and fighting with his hands in his pockets. In Dragon Ball Super, his Super Saiyan Blue (SSGSS) form allowed him to trade blows with the immortal deity Fused Zamasu.

• Spirit Sword (光の剣 – Hikari no Ken): Vegito channels his condensed Ki into his right hand, extending it into a glowing, sharp blade of energy that can slice through mountains and impale opponents.

• Big Bang Kamehameha: The ultimate fusion attack, combining Vegeta’s devastating point-blank energy blast with Goku’s signature finishing wave to unleash catastrophic planetary damage.

• Banshee Blast / Finger Beam: Rapidly fires concentrated, needle-thin beams of Ki from his fingertips capable of piercing through multiple targets with pinpoint accuracy.
